📖 How I read
One book at a time, although an audiobook sometimes joins the equation.
Hey, I’m Carla, a French reader from just outside Paris and the person behind The Never Ending Chapter. I’m finally turning my love of books and merch into pieces inspired by the stories, tropes and reading moments that make us feel everything.
You know the feeling: the book is finished, but you are not ready to leave. You are still replaying the scenes, missing the characters and looking for one more way to stay inside the world that made you feel good. I know it because I am right there with you.
I created The Never Ending Chapter to turn that feeling into pieces we can keep close. Designs that let us wear the reference, recognise another reader in the room and quietly say: yes, this story changed something in me too.
This is merch made from inside the fandom, by a reader who understands the attachment. For the books we recommend to everyone, the characters we defend a little too seriously and the worlds we are never quite ready to leave.
Hey, I’m Carla, a reader from just outside Paris, and the hands and heart behind every collection you see here.
Reading first found me at around thirteen through Wattpad fanfiction about the celebrities I loved. Later, I spent entire summers lost in books, sometimes so lost that I forgot the world around me. Then life shifted, screens took their place and reading quietly slipped away. After starting my first job and moving out of my mum’s home, I found my way back through shared reading sessions with my best friend, endless recommendations and the six-minute voice notes I am now famous for.
Books have since become where I travel, reset and find comfort when real life, or the news, feels too heavy. Romance and romantasy warm my heart, while nonfiction about women and the world helps me understand it and feel more engaged with it.
I wanted work that gave me meaning rather than anxiety, and I kept coming back to the same things: books and merch. The Never Ending Chapter is my way of turning passion into something tangible, for me and for every reader.
I choose the themes, imagine the references and create each design myself, always searching for the detail another reader will recognise but that still feels easy to wear anywhere.
If your order is going to Europe, I make your piece myself in my home studio near Paris and prepare it for you, one order at a time. It means I can put my care into each piece without making piles of clothes nobody has asked for.
For readers outside Europe, including the United States, my designs still start here with me. I entrust the making to a trusted production partner closer to you whenever possible, so your piece does not have to travel all the way from France. It can mean a shorter journey, quicker delivery and lower shipping or import costs, depending on your destination. Wherever you are, the idea, the references and the love for these stories are mine.
I choose soft, comfortable textiles with feel, durability and price in mind, while looking for the most responsible options available to a small business. If a story or design lives in your head, tell me. I am always happy to talk ideas and the fictional people living rent-free in ours. I hope you find a piece here that feels like it was made for you.
