1. Seller and scope
These Terms of Sale apply to consumer purchases made on The Never Ending Chapter website. The seller is Carla Coto, trading as The Never Ending Chapter, an entrepreneur individuel (EI) under the French micro-enterprise regime, registered in the Registre national des entreprises (RNE) under SIREN 939 761 466, with a registered business address at 10 rue du Puits, 77185 Lognes, France. Placing an order requires the customer to accept these Terms of Sale. The version accepted at checkout applies to the order.
2. Products
The Never Ending Chapter sells embroidered clothing, accessories, gift cards and related products. Essential characteristics, available sizes, colours, materials and any personalisation options appear on the relevant product page. Photographs and colours are presented as accurately as possible, but display settings can cause minor differences.
Many physical pieces are prepared or embroidered after an order is placed. This production method does not, by itself, make a standard catalogue product legally personalised.
3. Prices, taxes and customs
The store's base currency is euro. Where Shopify Markets is available, a local-currency price may be displayed. The final currency, product price, applicable taxes and delivery charges are shown before payment.
The seller benefits from the French VAT exemption regime: TVA non applicable, art. 293 B du CGI. French VAT is not charged or recoverable. The product price shown before checkout is the price payable before delivery charges and any applicable import charges.
For deliveries outside the relevant customs territory, local import duties, taxes or carrier handling charges may apply. Unless checkout expressly states that these charges are included, the customer is responsible for them.
4. Order and payment
The customer selects products and options, checks the basket, provides delivery and billing information, chooses an available delivery and payment method, accepts these terms and submits payment. Input errors can be corrected before confirmation.
An electronic acknowledgement is sent. The sale is concluded when payment is accepted and the order is confirmed. We may contact the customer or cancel and refund an order after payment failure, suspected fraud, an unavailable product, an obvious pricing error or information that prevents fulfilment. Available payment methods appear at checkout. The Never Ending Chapter does not receive the complete payment-card number.
5. Preparation and delivery
Physical orders are prepared, personalised where applicable and dispatched by The Never Ending Chapter from France. We aim to dispatch within seven working days unless a different preparation time is stated on the product page. Delivery methods, charges and available estimates are shown before payment.
The customer must provide a complete and accurate address. Risk of loss passes when the consumer, or a designated third party other than the carrier, takes physical possession, subject to mandatory law.
The Shipping Policy forms part of these Terms and provides the practical details for preparation, destinations, tracking, customs, delays, loss and damage.
6. Statutory right of withdrawal
For eligible distance purchases, EU consumers have 14 calendar days from receipt to notify withdrawal without giving a reason. Notice can be submitted through the online Withdrawal Form or another clear statement sent to theneverendingchapter@protonmail.com. The goods must be sent back no later than 14 calendar days after notice.
The customer pays the direct return cost after receiving instructions. We refund the returned goods and the least expensive standard outbound delivery charge where required by law within 14 calendar days after notice. We may withhold reimbursement until the goods are received or evidence of dispatch is supplied. Refunds use the original payment method unless the customer agrees otherwise.
The withdrawal exception may apply to goods made to individual specifications or clearly personalised. Choosing a standard catalogue design, size or colour produced after ordering does not, by itself, create that exception.
7. Return window and item condition
Customers may request a return of an eligible standard item within 14 calendar days after the last item in the order is delivered. For orders in France, the European Union and the United Kingdom, Shopify extends the deadline to the next business day when the final day falls on a weekend or public holiday. The item may be inspected and tried on as in a shop, but must not be washed, worn beyond inspection, damaged or altered. Original tags and packaging should be included where available.
For a change of mind or a customer-selected size or colour, the customer pays return shipping. We do not promise a free direct exchange. The customer may return the eligible item and place a new order, subject to availability.
8. Incorrect, damaged or defective goods
If we send the wrong model, size or colour, or a product arrives damaged or appears defective, contact theneverendingchapter@protonmail.com with the order number, description and clear photographs. Prompt contact helps us investigate but does not limit statutory rights. A wrong item is corrected at no extra cost, with a prepaid return method if required. Defective goods receive the remedies required by law without charge.

9. Legal guarantees
Consumers benefit from the French legal guarantee of conformity under Articles L217-3 and following of the Consumer Code and the guarantee against hidden defects under Articles 1641 and following of the Civil Code. The conformity guarantee applies for two years from delivery for new goods. Repair or replacement is available under the legal conditions without charge, followed where applicable by a price reduction or cancellation.
10. Gift cards
Digital gift cards are delivered electronically and can be used on this website for 12 months from the date of purchase. They may be used over several orders until the balance is exhausted or the card expires. If the order total exceeds the available balance, another accepted payment method is required for the difference. A gift card code may be given to another person; the purchaser and recipient are responsible for keeping it confidential. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash or used to buy another gift card. Outside any refund or withdrawal required by mandatory law, gift-card purchases are non-refundable. A refund for goods paid for with a gift card is credited to that card or, if this is technically impossible, to a replacement gift card.

13. Intellectual property
Purchasing a product does not transfer intellectual-property rights in the design, artwork, photographs, text or branding.
14. Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law without depriving consumers abroad of mandatory protections applicable in their country. Competent courts are determined by consumer law.
